Arsenal has been given a boost in their pursuit of a La Liga striker.

This summer, the Gunners were expected to sign a new marksman, but they were unable to find a suitable candidate.

As a result, despite the fact that Alexandre Lacazette was in the final year of his contract, they chose to keep him.

According to reports, the club could make an offer for En-Nesyri in January, which would force Lacazette to leave. The Moroccan international is admired by the Arsenal backroom staff. Lacazette may be added to the deal for £38.5 million.

En-Nesyri scored 24 goals for Sevilla during the 2020/21 season. So far this season, he has three goals.

West Ham United are also interested in signing the striker, but are likely to be priced out of any potential deal.

En-Nesyri had previously been linked with a move to Liverpool, but a deal is unlikely unless Roberto Firmino leaves the club.
