Court Orders Sowore’s Release Within 24 Hours, Tells DSS To Pay Him N100,000 For Unlawful Detention

Federal High Court Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu, Abuja, ordered the Department of state Service to release Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare, human rights activists, within the next 24 hours.


The judge also ordered the DSS to pay Sowore the amount of N100,000 for refusing to release him on bail in violation of two court orders.
The court also postponed the case brought against them by the Nigerian government for continuation until December 6 (tomorrow).
