Omoyele Sowore conveyed his willingness to start the process of rearranging the new charges brought before him by the State Services Department and the Government of Nigeria.
Sowore appeared in court today for the first moment since being kidnapped on August 3 by the DSS.
Sowore, who was arraigned on a seven-count charge before Justice Ijeoma, spoke briefly within the courtroom to reporters.
“We’re in court for their ridiculous allegations, of course, and we’re ready for them,” Sowore said on his face with a smile. The DSS failed to follow Justice Taiwo Taiwo’s court order to release Sowore on bail after the expiry of the DSS’s 45-day detention order.
