The Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emefiele, lead the Bankers’ Committee in signing a Memorandum of Understanding for the handover of the National Theater at Iganmu Lagos State.
While speaking at the event, Godwin Emefiele said that creative talents will be unveiled when the National Arts Theatre will is revamped.
The Bankers’ Committee will fund the revamp of the National Arts Theatre and the revamped structure will have a building each for Music, Fashion and Information Technology verticals.
Also the structure will include a Visitor’s Centre, Police and Fire Stations, and parking lot with the capacity to accommodate about 500 vehicles.
This will also create employment opportunities for Nigerians. The CBN governor thus thank President Muhammadu Buhari, for approving the handover of the National Arts Theatre.
