JUST IN – Truck crushes six to death in Ogun

On Sunday, at Ijebu-Imushin, Ijebu East Local Government Area of Ogun State, not less than six people, including four adults and two children, were crushed to death by truck.


The accident was triggered by a tricycle rider’s unlawful overtaking, according to the Public Relations Officer, Traffic Road and Enforcement Compliance Corps (TRACE), Babatunde Akinbiyi.

He said all of the ill-fated tricycle’s passengers lost their lives as their bodies were deposited in the city’s private morgue.

Angry mob was claimed to have set the truck on fire when their driver was being taken for investigation to Itamogiri Police Station.
