ONIFTV reports that Asisat became the first African player to score at three editions of the FIFA Women’s World Cup after defeating Australia by 3 goals to 2 in the ongoing competition.
Oshoala started the game on the bench but was introduced in the second half at 1-1 and changed the direction of the game.
However, in the 72nd minute of the game, Oshoala scored a spectacular goal, yanking off her jersey to celebrate the feat.
