Actress Halima Abubakar has been restrained by a Federal Capital Territory High Court from further defaming Apostle Johnson Suleman.
The court order, issued by Justice Edward Okpe, requires both parties to refrain from defaming Apostle Johnson Suleman and to maintain the status quo ante bellum until the suit is heard.
The lawsuit, marked as FCT/HC/CV/7102/2023, involves Apostle Suleman seeking one billion naira in damages from Halima Abubakar for alleged libelous publications on social media.
The case is scheduled for a hearing on August 18, 2023.
