Chelsea Football Club has received a bold proposition from My.Club, an adult subscription website, to become their shirt sponsor for the upcoming season. With the team currently in search of a new sponsor after parting ways with telecommunications company Three, My.Club has stepped up with a £40 million offer.

Having terminated the £40 million annual deal with Three in pursuit of a more lucrative sponsorship, Chelsea has been without a jersey sponsor. The club explored potential partnerships with various brands, including streaming service Paramount+ and gambling company Stake. Unfortunately, the Paramount+ deal was blocked due to conflict of interest, and the Stake deal was retracted in light of upcoming betting brand prohibitions. Additionally, an offer from Allianz, Bayern Munich’s stadium sponsor, was declined.

As the 2023/24 season approaches, Chelsea has been wearing their new kit without a sponsor logo on the front. The urgency to secure a sponsorship has led to negotiations even lowering to £25 million, including sponsorship for the Women’s team.

In a surprising turn, My.Club, an adult subscription platform, has entered the competition with a cheeky offer of £40 million. Mike Ford, the president of My.Club, envisions this collaboration benefiting both parties. Ford expressed the desire to see the My.Club logo prominently displayed on Chelsea jerseys before their season kickoff against Liverpool. He emphasized that this investment could facilitate strategic signings like Kylian Mbappe, enhancing Chelsea’s performance. Ford also highlighted the unique potential for Chelsea players, including Mbappe and Mudryk, to engage with fans through exclusive content and Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions on the My.Club platform.

The proposal from My.Club brings an unconventional twist to the search for Chelsea’s shirt sponsor, presenting an opportunity for both the football club and the adult subscription platform to align their interests for mutual gain.
