Nigeria Complex But Not Too Difficult To Manage – Tinubu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu emphasized his unwavering commitment to maintaining Nigeria’s unity and addressing its current challenges, as he spoke during the book launch of “Brutally Frank” authored by former Minister of Information, Edwin Clark, in Abuja. Tinubu expressed that while Nigeria’s complexity is evident, he firmly believes it is a manageable situation.

Represented by Senator George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), President Tinubu stated, “Ensuring Nigeria’s unity is a crucial mission that demands our dedication. Our nation’s intricacies, while significant, are not insurmountable. Our rich array of cultures and religious practices actually contribute to our strength.”

Addressing the temporary discomfort caused by the fuel subsidy removal, the president assured that this adversity will soon be alleviated through the implementation of palliative measures.

Ado Bayero, the Emir of Kano, acknowledged the numerous challenges faced by the nation, emphasizing the need for leaders to apply wisdom in maintaining national unity, which he believes will ultimately relieve the country of its current difficulties.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan lauded Edwin Clark for his invaluable contributions to national unity and peaceful coexistence, praising him for solidifying his place in history.

Gen. Yakubu Gowon (rtd), the Chairman of the occasion and former Head of State, expressed hope that future generations would glean insight from the experiences that have shaped Nigeria’s trajectory.

He emphasized the shared aspirations for peace, unity, and progress embodied by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who stands as a central figure representing these ideals.
