The French football icon reunited with his former Real Madrid teammate David Beckham as he watched Inter Miami in action but was unable to catch a glimpse of Lionel Messi in action.
The former Real Madrid maestro caught up with his fellow former Galactico, before watching Inter Miami lose to Houston Dynamo. Zidane had made the trip to Fort Lauderdale to catch a glimpse of the Argentine superstar in the US Open Cup Final, only for Messi to miss out due to injury. The pair, who played together at Santiago Bernabeu between 2003 and 2006, shared a handshake and conversed before kick-off on the field before again reuniting in the dressing room post-game, where the duo posed for photos arm-in-arm with Messi. Footage also showed the former Real Madrid head coach deep in conversation with the Herons’ co-owner Jorge Mas.
